the real worldthe ones that seem to mean most are the ones that take us for granted, only want us when they need us, or they have nothing better to do. but the ones that really should mean the most are the ones we ignore, fight with, and take for granted; the ones that we can call up when nothing goes right and they're right there. The ones that when you hug you feel completely and utterly safe, the one whose opinion you value most, and the ones that you cant imagine spending a day without.
They're not the ones that you have to find a reason to talk to, or the ones that you have to ban from using number 3; they're not the ones that make you cry unless they're tears of joy, and they're not the ones that make you scream so loud you collapse.
Yeah, maybe these people were once the ones that made you feel safe, whose opinion you valued most and the ones you were convinced you'd never stop loving. Everyone changes, sometimes you fuck up, if they dont get that you fucked up then they dont matter.
dont let them make you cry, dont let them ruin your life. dont let them take control and dont let them make you change your life for a second chance. Dont give in, dont cower in the corner and never say sorry. Why should you say sorry for something you didnt do? Why should you apologise for loving, caring or being considerate?
we all have to move on, it make feel like tearing your heart out, waxing your legs (or an area more sensitive), or leave you feeling like you want to throw up. No matter what they once were to you, you have to realise these people arent set in concrete, they're set in sand. They'll move on, you have a whole life worth of people who love you so much you cant imagine; embrace it.
never forget what you've learnt, never forget who made you feel like this, most of all: never regret, what you've learnt through this has made you stronger
i guess i need a dose of my own medicine.
